Letter from Susan for International Women’s Day

Today we celebrate International Women’s Day, a moment to reflect on the courage, resilience, and leadership of women across every profession and community.

This day is especially meaningful to me because throughout my life and career I have been fortunate to learn from and be supported by remarkable women. Their mentorship, generosity, and example shaped the way I think about leadership, community, and the responsibility we all share to create opportunities for others.

I continue to be inspired by women who show up every day with integrity, courage, and a genuine commitment to lifting others as they rise. That spirit is at the heart of Koa Counsel, building a community where bold ideas, authentic mentorship, and meaningful connections help women thrive.

Progress happens when people are willing to challenge norms, support one another, and create space where none existed before. May we keep showing up for one another and building pathways for those who follow.
